Live At Hollywood High is the second volume in The Costello Show series. It was released January 12, 2010 on the Hip-O label.

Three songs — "Accidents Will Happen," "Alison," and "Watching The Detectives" — from the June 4, 1978 concert were released on a bonus 7" EP included with the initial release of Armed Forces in 1979. The same three were included as bonus tracks on Rykodisc's 1993 reissue of that album.

Rhino's two-disc Armed Forces reissue in 2002 included those three songs and an additional six: "Mystery Dance," "Goon Squad," "Party Girl," "Stranger In The House," "Lipstick Vogue," and "You Belong To Me."

The remaining 11 songs are previously unreleased — assuming you don't count the very brief snippet of "Pump It Up" during the "Watching The Detectives" fadeout on the original EP and Ryko CD! (This was not included on the Rhino CD.)

Richard Groothuizen's book Going Through The Motions (Elvis Costello - 1982/1985) (which, despite the title, includes setlists going back to 1977) suggests that an unidentified additional song was performed between "(I Don't Want To Go To) Chelsea" and "This Year's Girl." It is unclear whether the book is in error, or if that song has been omitted from the new CD. Hip-O's press release indicates the concert is presented "in its entirety."

Curiously, several songs which appear on both the Hip-O CD and the Rhino Armed Forces ("Accidents Will Happen," "Mystery Dance," "Goon Squad," "Party Girl," "Stranger In The House," and "Lipstick Vogue") run at a slightly slower speed on the new CD. It is not clear to me which speed is "correct." "Alison," "Watching The Detectives," and "You Belong To Me" run at nearly identical speeds on both CDs.
